The collaboration between GHEPI and ADACI Emilia-Romagna continues for the creation of a specific training format for Buyers and Purchasing Managers who must manage purchases of molds and articles in thermoplastic materials.
The objectives of the format are both to integrate and update the technical-scientific skills on polymers, molds and molding process and to provide operational advice in the formulation of the supply request and in the management of information.
During this second training the peculiarities of the thermoplastic injection molding sector were explored with a focus on:
- Materials
- Plants and equipment used or that could alternatively be used
- Machine setting and production times
- Real time to market
- The structure and construction of economic lots.
